Lauren Smathers
General Manager
In December 2007 Lauren Smathers took over as General Manager of
Carolina Truck and Body Company after her grandfather Geary Cordell
passed away. Lauren earned her Associates Degree from Asheville-Buncombe
Technical College and her Bachelors Degree from Mars Hill College. She
recently earned her Masters Degree in Business Administration from
Western Carolina University. Lauren has worked for Carolina Truck and
Body for over 8 years starting as the Warranty Administrator for the
company. She has worked in all areas of the company from the Service
Department, to Parts, as well as Sales. As of October of 2008, she
was instrumental in securing the Isuzu Truck franchise for the company.
Lauren is looking forward to working with the many customers throughout
Western North Carolina region for many years to come. |
